Mental Cleanse for Stress, Anxiety, and Depression

Are you looking for a fresh start? After feeling stuck, frustrated, anxious, overwhelmed, or depressed, do you need a "mental cleanse?” Here are some tips that can help you with your journey of self-improvement. Dedicate a month to yourself and implement as many of these techniques to relieve stress, reduce anxiety, and get a fresh start.

-Read a self-help book that focuses on what you are going through

-Start a new career challenge (i.e. start a new business, ask for a raise, get more training, apply for a new job)

-Consistently implement walking, meditation, exercise, or a new exercise class.

-Develop a comforting morning routine to relax and get you pumped up for your day

-Forgive yourself

-Get Enough Sleep

-Express your thoughts and feelings

-Find a therapist, counselor, or psychologist to start the journey of coping with stress or healing

-Take everything out of your closet, donate clothes you don't need, and organize the rest.

-List what you are grateful for every morning (Do you remember when you didn't have the things you have today?)

-Schedule social time with your friends, family, and partner.

-Buy a whiteboard, hang it, and lay out all your affirmations, goals, routines, and your list of what you are grateful for

-Just do it! Do what you always wanted to do

-Become aware of and address your negative thoughts, pessimistic thoughts, and your negative self-talk.

-Thoughts can become your reality

-On a daily basis read your Pinterest board of the quotes and affirmations that get you through the day

Mental health is important if you want to accomplish all your goals! Set aside a time during your day and brainstorm how you will be accountable for the techniques above! Implementing even one of the above techniques can have immeasurable benefits to your mental well-being.

Warmly,
